You may have reached a point where life feels quieter around you, but louder in your mind. Old regrets, unresolved conflicts, your nagging inner critic, or the question “What now?” keep surfacing. Your roles have changed, your body feels different, and the future feels both uncertain and precious. You crave more peace, clarity, and purpose—but you’re not sure where to start.

In this self-help book, psychologist Felicia Zeven draws on ten years of clinical experience to walk with you on a gentle, step-by-step journey of self-discovery and change.
Part One follows the structure of real therapy sessions, helping you explore your history, uncover what holds you back, and reconnect with the core values that shape your identity.
Part Two addresses the realities of later life: retirement, grief, physical changes, and questions of meaning—offering comfort, clarity, and practical tools.

With bite-sized lessons, practical exercises, and heartfelt reflections, this isn’t just a self-help book. It’s a conversation—a safe space to reflect, experiment, and grow.

You don’t have to become someone new. It’s about unlocking the courage to understand yourself, evolve, and move forward, on your own terms. Because it’s never too late to know yourself better. It’s never too late to shift what holds you back. And it’s definitely never too late to write a new chapter.

About the author

Felicia Zeven. Dutch Psychologist. Written a self-help book for seniors. A therapeutic toolkit for Emotional healing and purposeful living.

Felicia Zeven is a healthcare psychologist in the Netherlands with over a decade of experience working with younger and older adults. Trained in CBT, Trauma therapy, ACT, Positive psychology, and Narrative therapy, she is known for an active, hands-on approach that blends education, practical exercises, and a deep focus on the therapeutic relationship.

“I’m not the kind of therapist who just sits back and listens”, Felicia says. “I believe therapy should give you tools you can use in real life. I want you to leave each session - or each page of my books - with something that moves you forward”.

A passionate advocate for integrating the mind and body, Felicia is also recognized for her innovative work in boxing therapy—a powerful way to release blocked emotions, process trauma, and rebuild self-confidence. Having lived in several countries she brings a multicultural and inclusive perspective to everything she does.

Felicia began writing with one clear goal: to make therapy more accessible. With long waiting lists and high costs preventing many from getting support, her books offer practical strategies, compassionate insights, and the reassurance that change is always possible.
